One of our favorite seasons is spring: the sun is bright, school's out, and our gates are open! From April 1 through April 10, Six Flags Over Georgia will be open daily with extended hours, so you can get out from behind those desks and onto the most thrilling rides in the Southeast.

Find the Dare Devil Inside Yourself

The words "dare devil" get thrown around a lot when you're at a world class theme park, but what do they really mean? You're about to find out on Dare Devil Dive, a steel adventure that will take you past vertical to some completely unexplored territory.

You'll really earn that title of dare devil on this smooth-riding snake of a course that serves a series of high banking turns and twists, for a mind-warping total of three inversions.

Ride Through the Frontier in a Mine Car

The Gold Rush was one of the richest times in history. Transport back in time to the early frontier and experience it first-hand with a ride on the Dahlonega Mine Train, a family coaster named after the Georgia town where the very first gold rush took place.

This classic 1967 mine train is anything but fool's gold. You'll start with a 37-foot drop, followed by a figure-eight curve, striking it rich through snaking dips and twists that hug the natural landscape. Zooming along at 35 miles per hour, keep an eye out for anything shiny as you enjoy a breezy blast from the past.

Little Adventurers Will Have a Blast on This Junior Coaster

Rustle up your little ones, step into a train car, and get ready for thrills and fun that will make you laugh on THE JOKER Funhouse Coaster! This junior roller coaster will take you on a trip through the ultimate Funhouse of family fun.

Things start gently enough as you roll out of the Funhouse, but soon you'll hear that infamous maniacal laugh from THE JOKER himself as you lift up the first hill. You'll race though the track at a top speed of 30 miles per hour, which will be quite thrilling for both younger and older riders. It's all smiles and laughs in this Funhouse!

Take Flight on Blue Hawk

Soar over the water on the picturesque Blue Hawk. First, you'll climb up a towering 122-foot lift hill, the anticipation of what's to come growing every second. Take in the view of the park at the top of the hill before diving down the more than 50 mile per hour drop. The thrill isn't over as you'll smoothly rush through 2,100 more feet of track that includes multiple twists, turns and upside-down loops.
