37 Week Check Up

The nursery is ready, the bags are packed, and the car seat is bought! Now is just the waiting game till our new little man arrives. The only thing we are missing is... his name!!! As most of you know I want to name him Landon Reese, but Jim and Hunter have still NOT accepted and want something else. The only other name that they have come up with that I somewhat agree on is Bradley, but I still really want Landon. Landon is the first name that I came across that really stuck out to me and that I really love. At this point we can't even talk about the name without arguing about it. Hopefully we have a little more time to figure it out. I'm really tired of referring to him as "the baby." If anyone has any good suggestions, please let us know!My 37 week check up is tomorrow, (Fri. 6/6) but so far I've had no real contractions or anything, so I think he'll be in there a tad bit longer. Jim and I have a breast feeding class to attend on June 10th, so I'm hoping he'll at least stay in until then. After that, I'm all ready. To every ones surprise, even though this isn't our first time, we are very nervous. We are in a much better place in our lives and so many things have changed and are different for us now. Also the fact that we are here alone in Atlanta without family makes it a bigger challenge. I'm sure everything will turn out great, but the unknown is VERY scary. So... When to the doctor yesterday afternoon. It was a very uneventful visit. They check my blood pressure, weight, belly size and listened to the baby's heartbeat. They did not do any checking to see if I have dilated yet. So needless to say, we know nothing more then we already did. I have my next check up next Fri, when they will check to see if I have dilated any. I'm hoping that something will happen before then, but we'll see!

Oh another note, Jim has FINALLY agreed on the name. We are definitely going with Landon!!!! I'm so excited. We still like Reece for the middle name, but are still not 100% on that yet.
